It's a spoof, and chill out Christianity haters

This is clearly a spoof comedy, anyone who thinks otherwise is just a moron. So chill religion haters because this is a film for YOU. Those who can't believe they would choose this cast to make a Noah film... again... it's a spoof comedy. Don't see it if you feel uncomfortable with religion jokes.

Also, what's with all the Christianity bashing? GET A CLUE! The story of Noah is told in Judaism as well as Islam. The Old Testament exists in each one of those religions in one form or another. Islam even has New Testament Christianity stuff. Islam has the old testament up to the story of Abraham exactly as the Bible and the Torah explain things. It's when Abraham is ordered to have children that things begin to deviate between Islam and the other two religions. Jesus Christ is considered the second most important prophet in Islam, under Muhammed of course.

If you're going to get mad at Christianity over this movie, at least have the common sense to include all religions who carry these beliefs word-for-word. It makes no sense to hate on just Christianity for beliefs that 2 other religions have.

Are Muslims and Jews a majority in the USA? Do they hold significant political power here?

Once you answer those questions, you'll see why people "bash christianity."

reply

uh duh the jews run everything, music especially, control over any type of media by members of any religion is a bad thing,

I consider this comment to be bigoted

Wvthurm: Not to mention that the followers of Islam tend to 'take offense rather vigorously' of you 'bash them' whereas Christians tend to take it...could it be COWARDICE??? Please...tell me;

No, they bash Xtianity because they are cowards, and know that unlike Moslems, Xtians aren't going to lop their heads off, or fly planes into their buildings. They bash targets that won't hit back, because they are cowards.

I don't think you're correct about it being a spoof comedy. It appears to me, and any one else interested in doing some research for that matter, that this production is shared by the same writer and directors of the recently animated version of The Ten Commandments. And from what I have read, as I haven't seen the movie, it wasn't a spoof at all. Just a horribly done film.

WARLORD1863-. "Islam even has New Testament Christianity stuff. Islam has the old testament up to the story of Abraham exactly as the Bible and the Torah explain things"

Not so much. there are many things different in the Koran. a lot. don't say things like this. the Koran does tell the same round about story as in the old testament, but they are twisted, as is some of the new testament "quoted" in the Koran.

"don't say things like this. the Koran does tell the same round about story as in the old testament, but they are twisted..."

That's right. Because, God knows, the Old Testament is soooo not-twisted.

Who cares it is all just made up bullsh*t...

Exactly.

Okay, so a comedy spoof based on Noah's Ark, sounds good. I should check it out.

Its just a movie. why does his have to turn into a religious debate?

reply

Have you taken a look at the film's main theme?

"Ignorance is the soil in which belief in miracles grows." - Superstition (1898)

reply

I can't wait for this *beep* *beep* I love the Bible.

What is this movie about? Ont topic, I don't care about religon. Have anybody seen the movie Knowing? The ending of that movie had alot to do with the bible. It was just done in a different viewpoint. And I knew the critics were going...

to give the movie 1 or 2 stars because of its climax (is that the right word)? But I really liked the movie. And I will probably like this movie to.

I dont know what to say! Just don't put words in my mouth!

I don't know what your beef is ( clearly you are incapable of believing that "liberal hollywood" is capable of anything but mocking your religion )
But this is by the same company that produced 2007s animated The Ten Commandment.
Wich was anything but a spoof or satier.
Maybe you should give people the benifite of the dought, and stop assuming that anyone who doesn't share your personal beliefs hates you.
