What's with all the 'bad father' cliches lately?

Unless her dad was like that in real life, I think it was stupid to continue the stereotype of a black dads being losers who don't care about their kids.

So cliche. But that's an easy stereotype for Hollywood to endorse. Hard being a black man in America.

Oh that's right. It's "so hard" to be a black man.. Total BS! You know what's hard? Being a child of divorce with the deadbeat with the "Y" chromosome as a father who won't step up and help raise his own offspring.
