I thought it was really well done, couldn't believe Durst was the director when i saw it come up on screen at the end. I wasn't even planning on watching it, but it pulled me in. The movie has a few moments that are in every sports movie, but you know what? It doesn't have a half dozen cliche's that are in every other sports movie. This movie concentrates more on character and not as much drama from what's happening in the game, or creating fake enemies for the lead to have to contend with. There were so many times I was waiting for those cliche moments in every sports movie after they seemed to have been set up, only to go a completely different direction, or walk over the expected into new territory. It does help that the movie is based on a true story. Don't know why it has a bad rep...
