To not kill the goat herders ruined this movie for me

I just don't get why you don't kill them to complete your mission. If this had been WW2 the sand people would have been dead without a question. We have become way to weak as a nation when it comes to war and what needs to be done.

reply

Yea yea, your a bad azz MoFo, but before you knew the conclusion, you wouldn't have, or do you just go around killing unarmed old men and children?

reply

B. In war B. When my mission is at stake, B all day long.

War happens in merit of the convention. Stated for stature as to be prized in the benefit of its assertion. Daring and qualified retained in the continuous measure of maintaining the course and directive. A recon capacity of affirming a matter incited to cause of vicious approach. Is not in the guidelines.

Standing reflected in the capacity of worth in what they had deemed themselves fit for service and life preserved. What one person can escape another was built for.

Ruined the movie for you?

Oh it’s such a shame that three SEALs died for nothing then.

To think they could have all lived and won the approval of an entitled asshole like yourself, must haunt their families to this day.

The US armed forces operate under very strict 'rules of engagement'
It would have been illegal and severely punishable had they knifed or garroted those goat herders...even though they suspected the goat herders of being allied with the enemy

They really found themselves in a rotten situation...they got busted and paid the ultimate price

Sad story

reply

Agreed. It was just a shitty situation all around.

It's a shame the goat herders didn't have it in them to return the favor of sparing their lives by giving them time to get out of there.

Radicalized and brain washed...

I witnessed and shuddered through an argument between my brother in law (a two time combat Marine) and the wife of my friend who went to High School with Michael Murphy...

My bro-in-Law said kill that boy but my friend's wife maintained Michael could never have done so...a rather ugly argument broke out

I served some more drinks and peace was restored👍

reply

Ironically, out of the herders it was the young kid who I felt the most sympathy for, and then he was the one who really hauled ass to tip off the Taliban. I wonder if that's how it went down in real life.

I really need to read the book
maybe I can Amazon it this week
