Do people in England dress like the people in Nearly Famous?

i live in england and to be honest i doubt many people dress like them, but as with anywhere in the world people dress how they like! it's not really exclusive to england.. loads of people across the world will go for the grungy look like owen, but i doubt many people dress like lila in day to day life or even kate.. both a bit out there, but again in cities across the world kids dress up just to be seen really. plus the show's set in a performing arts school, so the charcaters are creative and that'lll translate to their clothes :) the city in the uk i live in (one of the major ones) doesn't have many people who dress like lila or kate for sure!

hope this helped a bit, there's probably more people who dress like them in america than in england in my opinion :)

I think they're meant to seem a bit eccentric in their styles to make them seem unique, but I have seen ppl dressed similar to them, just not to the extemes.

the hipster style is really in these days.

i doubt it's not impossible to come across someone who dresses like them.

Hey, I don't know where all the other people here come from but where I'm from, up in Scotland, there are loads of people who dress like any of the characters, none of it is really original.

um, okay i was an extra in this show so i can tell you they wanted the students to look like they went to a drama college, rather what they thought a drama student looked like. Kate wore 4 inch heels in one scene to rehearse in which is ridiculous , so no in that respect, the actors got input into fabolous costumes and they wanted our heroes to stand out. By the way, all the female extras converted this one dress of lilas so badly.
