as much as Ryan Nicholson himself, i love revenge films and seeing the villain get what he deserves. this was an amazing film, and I also have seen Hanger (same director, still sick but not as good), as well as the classic 70's revenge horror like I Spit On Your Grave, Last House on the Left, etc. Any more good suggestions on revenge horror films similar in nature of brutality to this one and the others I have mentioned above?

Also check out, even though they're not horror they have horrible scenes in them, Dead Man's Shoes and Strawdogs (the Dustin Hoffman original, I haven't seen the updated version). Also there was a film James Wan made several years ago called Death Sentence, which was decent. Then there's always Paul Kersey. Death Wish 2 in particular has some brutal scenes and a sweet death scene with a very young Lawrence Fishburne.
