Soundtrack

How did the filmmakers of such a small production afford the licensing for the songs featured in the movie? The Bachman-Turner Overdrive and Loverboy are pretty big names in rock and I'm sure I've heard of the other groups somewhere. Nice homage to the horror genre though. It blended the 1980s slasher genre with elements of the 1970s rape/revenge genre perfectly.

Those tracks were temp tracks put in while editing. A workprint was sent to the copyright holders, they disapproved and we removed the songs. A version somehow managed to get on the internet and the bootleg was born. The official soundtrack by "Harlequin" and "Gianni Rossi" is very good as well. And it's official!! Cool.

Apparently a track from Honeymoon suite was also in the movie and
approuved.

Don't understand why anyone would be proud to have their
song in a movie like this.

It's not like the members of Honeymoon suite
need the money and if paid, they were paid very
little to feature their song in a movie very few
will ever see.

I guess Harlequin must have had a dozen songs that
nobody wanted and they saw a chance to put it out there
in the world.
