I can't believe Conor Knighton left infomania. I can't believe he left the network. He's been there since the beginning. The new infomania is like a chat show. It's like something you see on E!.
Current TV has gone downhill in the last six months. Max and Jason still up is no longer on. The whole network is heading towards mediocrity.

Tru Dat. I really do like Brett but I think the whole thing has changed. First they got rid of Super News, Then The Rotten Tomatoes Show and now they have changed Infomania.
Damn you Current TV.

I am confused and very disappointed by this "new" (but not improved) Info Mania. While the original show had its ups and downs, it certainly had its moments. It's not just that Conor Knighton is gone (that's be bad enough) but the whole show is different. I really like Bret Ehrlich a lot but the writers are not giving him anything to work with. The pacing is off (it feels very static), and the jokes that were always a little obvious are now just thudding. The very first episode of this new format had Ehrlich talking with the guy from the Hollywood Foreign Press Association for what felt like an endless amount of (unfunny) time. It was pointless. I never fully understood why Current TV took the Rotten Tomatoes Show off and now I can't understand why someone decided that Info Mania needed revamping.
shareI didn't think I would miss, Conor but I do, he had a special why of doing things, and though I adore Bret I'd much prefer seeing him in VVFS which is still hilarious and Rotten Tomatoes show which I miss (Where's Ellen!).
Something about the new IM that makes it less funny, even with Brett. I
miss "Sergio Chili's white hot top five", and though "That's gay is still here it's not the same", and "Modern Woman" (though I maybe the only one who like that). I miss "we got you covered"! UGH! I just miss everything this change is not for the best in my opinion.
Oh yeah I forgot about Supernews and Max and Jason, those shows were great!
