'I think we're done here'

Does anyone know the episode I'm talking about? New York cop stops a girl and her buddy speeding and while taking her license she blurts out "my dad's a New York City cop" while he's walking back to his cruiser and all of the sudden it's "have a nice day miss, no ticket for you". Gotta love that whole police double standard. I know it goes on in lots of jobs but these are people that decide how laws are applied!!

Yes but the difference is how quickly his tone changed when he found out she was a cop's daughter.

reply

Get over it. Cops look out for each other. It's a dangerous job and the brotherhood is part of it.

reply

Yes because letting off some little rich bitch cops' daughter is completely the same as covering each other's backs. I was in the Marines idiot, I know what danger is; cops are fascists who don't give a damn about the law, just exerting their own authority and raising money for the state.

reply

Sure you were.... true marines never brag about it. It's called common courtesy. If he had given the cops daughter a ticket, she would have gotten daddy to fix it anyways. No point in wasting his time or the other cops time to get it fixed. Learn your place.

"How can you judge me, when you've never been where I am?" You should listen to this quote

reply

"Learn my place"? Cops enforce the laws not make them. Too many PIGS have power trips like you and think they have some sort of special rights to violate our civil rights. Unfortunately a lot of society passively agrees with them or just ignores it.

reply

A speeding ticket isn't a violation of your rights.

Nazi communists, now that's not a contradiction. Something tells me someone got theirself a speeding ticket recently. We all know that 9/11 was just becouse some people where pissed about paying tickets, and that there is absolutly no problem with someone going 70 miles an hour through a residential neighborhood.

Spector: "Fireteam, fire at will. BRAVO TEAM, THAT MEANS PULL THE GOD DAMN TRIGGER!"

reply

"true marines never brag about it" and "learn your place" in the same paragraph.

People with honor don't tell others to 'learn their place'.

"It's called common courtesy." Really? Mentioning military service while in the discussion of a "dangerous job" seems perfectly relevant, not bragging.

And what courtesy do you show by calling someone a liar and telling them they need to learn their place?

reply

"little rich bitch cops' daughter"

I don't know too many rich cops. As in..... I don't know any.

"Ehhh ehhh ehhh?"

reply

*applause*

If you watch the episode she remarks her dad is a Lieutenant, and look at the damn car she's driving. I know a police Lt. and even here in east bumf-ck Maine they make pretty damn good money each year.

reply

Well if idiots like you keep speeding, of course they're going to write more tickets and get more money.

reply

In NY and NJ, law enforcement are given PBA cards, that they can give to whomever they choose. These cards will get you out of pretty much any speeding or traffic violation (except DUI and reckless driving).

reply

To the guy who said the cop was looking out for the other cops back. BS!!!!!

Its got nothing to do with looking out for his back. He was just saving his own ass. If he truly wanted to uphold the law he would have given her the ticket. Doesnt matter if daddy would have taken of it. What matters is that she still got the ticket and that her pathetic tries to weasel out of it didnt work.
