It seems like a pretty strange grouping...
Of course we have no way of knowing how Fillion enters into the situation but I would guess as a love interest to Monaghan.

Maybe, looking forward to seeing where Joey Lauren Adams fits in too, I love her acting
This film should be well worth a look, seems a really interesting cast and Nathan Fillion is one of the most under-rated/under-used Actors around!
