While I agree that Ed Harris and Peter Weller are both stellar actors I hardly feel that their performances were wasted in this film.
Amy Madigan (sp?) gave a brilliant performance as well.
I found the film (as it progressed) very engaging and entertaining - especially the 'Twenty Years Later' opening with the jail fight (loved it!).
Ash Adams did a splendidly brilliant job on this film - it was raw and unapologetic in every aspect.
As writer, director, producer and actor - Ash Adams should certainly be commended on his work.
Although not a big budget film - talent emerged to make this film a true Independent Masterpiece in its own right.

shareI absolutely DUG IT! If this is 'A' I would love to know when you're coming out with another feature film. In fact, my bf has a book that he's in the process of getting published (He's a Nashville Country Music Writer who has written hits for 'Brooks and Dunn' and other very well known country music artists. It would be awesome for the two of you to collaborate on his book to become a movie in the distant future. I think you would be the perfect person to capture its essence.

Is it because you use the word "brilliant" so generously that it finally made you blind ? This movie was a complete disgrace, it should have stay fallen and never rise again to a screen. I also hope the "director" of this crap will learn another word than "tool" when he favors us with his comments on this board.
