Why Ned and MJ also forget who is Peter Parker?
no reason for then not to remember him
shareWasn't the original spell everyone forget who he is?
shareThe original spell was for people to forget Peter Parker is Spiderman.
The new spell is for people to forget Peter Parker ever existed.
The spell specifically erases Peter Parker from the universe. NO ONE remembers him (with the possible exception of Dr. Strange since he cast the spell. That was a bit ambiguous.)
It was Peter trying to impose exceptions during the spell casting that caused the problem that led to the villains and heroes from the other universes materializing.
Does the "nobody remembers Peter" thing only apply to Earth? What about people off-planet who know Peter like Captain Marvel, The Guardians of the Galaxy, and Thor? What about the Watcher? Does this apply to the multiverse, do Raimi Parker and ASM Parker remember? What about Dr. Strange himself?
shareAll good questions, which will no doubt be answered if and when they come up.
If we go with the comics, the spell covers the entirety of existence. People on other planes who knew Peter Parker was Spider-Man cease to remember that fact after the spell has been cast. That does not mean the same is the case in the MCU.
At the beginning why didn't he agree to everyone forgetting he was spiderman? Then he could go to his girlfriend, mom, etc, as Spiderman, de-suit and say "I am Peter Parker"?
