The son...?

Everyone else acted pretty well except the guy acting as the governor's son, Matt Keeslar. He seemed to lack the right emotion at times. I wish they'd cast someone else. Does anyone else agree?

Yes, he just stared blankly when told of terrible things his mother was doing. I know he was supposed to be weak, but he could have registered some emotion.

Actually, I didn't have a problem with him; he just seemed tired and stunned. And for a weak guy, he seemed to be standing up to her pretty well. I mean, it's still his *mom*, after all. How many of us could really believe that about our own mother?

I admit, though, I was sort of rooting for Henner to kill off his wife. I'm not sure if it's the actress or the role, but she was plain annoying.
