Bella Thorne didn't look like a boy
Just because she had shorter hair and dress like a high school coach does not make her look like a boy. The hair style is for girls. They should have try harder to make her look more like a girl.

shareYou lost me at the end there.

I agree. It was glaringly obvious to me that she was girl. The fact that she has shorter hair, doesn't mean she looked masculine or anything like that. I've seen girls with shorter hair and are still easily distinguishable as females.
It feels good to be lost in the right direction. 🌌
She was not supposed to be a boy!
Its that man again!!
>>> She was not supposed to be a boy!
But people in the movie kept mistaking her for a boy. Which wasn't believable considering she didn't look like a boy, despite the hairstyle.
It was a running joke throughout the movie, that didn't work.
I thought she was a boy. I even said out loud in the first scene, is that a girl or boy? That was before the kid at the store called her sir. Then after that I was still confused about whether the younger siblings were supposed to be girls or boys too.
shareWell when the dad calls her Larry infront of people it would be difficult

She looked like a red-headed Owen Wilson. She did look like a boy.
shareI think other than the clothes, her look resembled Molly Ringwald in the '80s.
