CUBA

I know they all made it back safe, but I was uncomfortable watching it, afraid for their safety, I don't know why really? I have traveled outside of the country, just something didn't "feel" right about the whole trip. The "no carseats" "no seatbelts" were stressing me out too. But I understand what are you going to do? They don't have any, right! It was sort of boring, and all they were saying was "Real life" "able to live' I guess for their sake it was fun to go somewhere were you aren't so "known" so they could actually walk around a little bit with out a million people trying to get to them. They basically created their own prison. I can't imagine being famous, and not be able to go anywhere without a billion people trying to take a pic and talk to me, no thank you.

I was a little concerned seeing Mason leaning against the front door passenger seat while they drove around....we grew up without seat belts but my father was a maniac about us not leaning on the car door while he was driving. I guess he had pictures in his head of us toppling out onto the road.

I doubt they were ever in any real danger. Sure, maybe they weren't wearing seatbelts but I think there are times in the US where they don't wear seatbelts. Plus, they had security around them at all times.

What I laugh at is how they act like they're all exploring a country and such and yet they have a camera crew following them around and security. So, this isn't like your average person going to Cuba. The people there see camera crews following these people around and they know that these people are on some sort of tv show.

The no seat belts thing was ridiculous. You could clearly see plenty of modern, regular cars driving in the background. They chose to ride around in fancy classic convertibles because they looked cool. I honestly found it pretty sad that they cared more about how they looked for the show rather than for their children's safety. It really spoke volumes about their priorities.
