OMG I JUST GOT DONE WATCHING THE FIRST HALF, AND I...AM....HOOKED!!!! I am so anxious for tomorrow nights half that i can't stop fidgeting, and probably won't be able to stop fidgeting until tomorrow night! plus the anxious pain in the pit of my stomach wont go away and now im so hyper that i DOUBT i'll be able to go to sleep, so i'll just stay up all night, then sleep the day away tomorrow so tomorrow night will get here faster. i'm brilliant

I know I'm excited too! It's the best TV miniseries I've watched. It doesn't drag on. It keeps you entertained and wanting more that you wish it would never end. And I've never seen a miniseries that was in the romantic genre. Most are historical epics or serious subjects. It's nice to see a mini series that is light hearted and fun.
shareI don't know...I'm on the West Coast and still watching it but I wouldn't say I'm 100% happy with it. I just finished reading the book (1/2 hr b4 the movie started) and the book was def more entertaining...
Clarissa, Aaron & Simon seem far more funny/sexy/interesting in the book.
I don't buy Marla Sokoloff as plain Jen; she is much hotter than the character. And as for the rest of Clarissa's gf's, they seem boring...

like when i went to bed (to TRY to sleep), i turned on one of my Scrubs dvd's, and Sarah's character Elliot said "Do you guys think Clarissa (a balding laundry lady at the hospital) is more attractive than me?" so i was like "Ok that was weird" and then a little while later i put my ipod on shuffle and the first song to come on is Maneater!

Insane in that its one of the worst things i've ever watched! The women in this movie/mini-series are horrid vain, petty golddiggers. The acting is pretty bad as is the script. I can only hope that the second part redeems the main character as someone who can care about someone else for more than just money and status.

First & Second
Yup! I recorded it the other day and watch 2 hours last night and 2 today . First I didn't see the mini-series indicator and thought...WT? 4 hours! But then I began to watch it and it was fabulous. Excellent show/movie. The only thing was they sometimes talked too fast. Thank God for subtitles!!! Anyway, anyone know why it's called Maneater? I mean that is a weird title. It's not about that at all other than perhaps the beginning where she wants to snag a rich guy. i didn't even on on here till i was finished because i knew there would be some give-aways in the posting titles. anyway, GREAT show!! The girl was fantastic as the lead.
