Huge Disappointment

Before I start, I just want you guys to know that I loved Manhunt and it may be my favorite PS2 game.

Manhunt 2 is a different story. Here it is:

1. The dialouge is laughable. When everything is supposed to be suspenseful, Leo makes pathetic comments and sounds like a surfer who has hit his head too many times on underwater rocks. He says stuff along the lines of "Take that you, MF'ers" and "f--- you, Danny."

2. The storyline sucked. I think it was pretty obvious to everyone what the real situation was in the first 15 minutes.

3. The deaths were lame. (Note: I'm not even talking about the blurriness.) Many weapon deaths were "stab him in the back with it and then hit him over the head". However, the yellow sword death was pretty amusing.

4. The "bad guys" were laughable. Sexual deviants? Hicks? The Watchdogs. Pfff... unimpressed. Shocking...yes, but only because I was shocked at how boring they were and that they had no personalities.

5. Daniel Lamb was the biggest p-ssy character in any game. (I guess that's biased to say but...ah screw it - he was a Gerber baby d-ck nose. F--- him.)

6. It was ridiculous how easy this game was to beat. I played it for about three or four hours and found out that I was already halfway done and for the first time ever, I was happy a game was so short.

7. This game was "The Punisher" but without the interrogations of suspects.

8. Finally, the ending was hilarious. "F--- you, f--- your wife, f--- your family." "I Wiiiiiiiiiiinnnnnnnnnnn!!!!!!" My brother and I laughed for three miuntes straight. Then my intelligence took over and I got pissed at how much the game sucked.

RATING: 1 out of 10
Overall, I was completely disappointed and it made me feel sad that this is what Manhunt 2 turned out to be. So - feel free to agree with me, disagree with me. Just do it in a respective manner and I will reply to you the same way back.

That's your opinion.I loved the first Manhunt game and I loved the second one as well.I would say Manhunt 2 is just as good as the first Manhunt.I would have liked this a bit better if it werent for the censored executions.The executions in this one were way more gory and violent, if only they were uncut.The fighting improves greatly from the first game and the storyline is pretty intresting as well.But yeah the game is pretty short and easy.

Yeah, I'm glad you mentioned the fighting. That was one thing that was a great improvement because it was realistic how the sledgehammer, bat, and sword did a lot of damage and only took a few hits to get the guy in red.

I'm glad that there are other people who feel the same as I do. I'm not insane, then, for hating the game.

Here are some quotes from the game that completely SUCK (for your entertainment.)

- "Who's the alpha male? YOU ARE!"

- "F-ck the project, f-ck 'em all."

- "No one can stop us, we're motherf-cking invincible!"

- "Sh-t on a c-ck! C-ck on a sh-t!"

- LEO: "This is a man's weapon..Can you handle it?"
DAN: "Bring it on."

- "I'll f-cking kill you, you psycho piece of sh-t!"

- "Would you like some cheese with that whine?" (Note: the spelling of wine.)

- "Come out, come out, wherever you are...so I can bite your d-ck off!"

- LEO: "You're not a man."
DAN: "I am so a man."
LEO: "No, you're a motherf-cking animal. Raawwwrrr!"

You've got to be kidding me. All I know is that I refuse to gobble the balls of the game. I will not be a Ball Goblin.

Beyond huge, I'm sorely disappointed!!!!

My list is similar...

1. Like you, I beat the entire game in one evening, and his is rare for me! The levels were entirely too easy and too short. An eight year old could beat this with no problem.

2. The bad guys were a joke! They were just bowling pins IMO, whereas the first game had real characters that you could sink your teeth into.

3. The storyline was lame. Why couldn't they just stick with the original 'snuff film' premise? Rockstar could play that one out forever--new rich guy, new prisoner, what's wrong with that?

4. Lastly, I'm disgusted that Rockstar bowed to the ratings board, what a cop out. The edited executions were both frustrating and ridiculous. Why bother?

I would have preferred if Rockstar had just scrapped the entire project. I'd rather remember Manhunt as it was, not like this. It's gonna take a whole lot of redeeming to bring this game back. Too damned bad, as it was my top favorite up there with the RE series and GTA.

I love the setting exicutions especially the manhole exictution and that spiked coffin exicution ouch.
