Ive heard a lot of talk that the UK version due on 31/10/08 is to have even more edits than the version currently available in the US to apease the BBFC, Does anyone know if there is any truth to this?
On another note, Do you think the Halloween release date is a clever marketing gimmick on behalf of Rockstar or just somthing of a "F___ You" to the lovley facisits at the BBFC?
I have heard of this two, it sead something like that on the BBC news website. However I can put your mind at ease for a bit! I just looked on the BBFC website and there is no say on this.

If a new concord manhunt 2 was to be released it would have to be resubmitted to the BBFC for a rating. No matter what changes are made it has be sent to the BBFC. If rockstar was to release it without resubmitting the new concord game they would be breaking the law! not to mention rockstar went thou all that trouble to get the game released how they want it! why would they all of a sudden release it how the BBFC wanted it. However don’t take my word for it. You never know we may be in for a bad surprise when it is relesed. I hope to god it is at the very leased the US concord game but I am not getting my hopes up.
Hmm, I'd highly doubt it. If anything, it seems to have more than the US version, read the revised version's rejected statement and you'll see what I mean. I have played the US 'M' Rated version and all the of execution kills are censored, even the violent executions are still censored, now here's a piece from the rejected statement of the revised version submitted to the bbfc; "The impact of the revisions on the bleakness and callousness of tone, or the essential nature of the gameplay, is clearly insufficient. There has been a reduction in the visual detail in *some* of the ‘execution kills'..." and it goes on to say "but in others they retain their original visceral and casually sadistic nature." This seems to suggest that only the gruesome executions kills in the UK version is censored.
But, we'll have to wait to find out. Rockstar HAS to LEGALLY release that version, unless they submitted a newer more censored version which would be ludicrus and no other versions has been submitted so I think there is no more censorship done to the game.
Will be interesting to see. Since I have played the US version and will be able to tell if anything more is censored or indeed, if anything less is censored.
Don't worry guys, I just got it today, and it doesn't seem to have changed one bit. Bought it for both PS2 and Wii, and it matches my PSP NTSC exactly. Go forth and play!
