So it's been what..6 years?

Since this game was released.

I have still yet to play it.
I live in Australia, our rating systems have just for the r18+ in the last year...which I'm assuming will make things slightly better, but I still haven't managed to play this game.

I have obtained a copy on the WII, and will NOT play it due to it's stupid, gimmicky BS controls...it is a constant annoyance and I can't deal with it.

I understand a version WAS available on PC to download, first through direct2drive, and now through gamersgate.
Though, of course - it's "not available to buy in my country" so I can't get the *beep* thing there either.

I have played through 80+% or Rockstars titles, and consider this to be a complete failure on their part to provide games and service to those people (in certain countries anyway) that have "grown up with" their games.
I've been on their games since pre-3-GTA.
I feel somewhat abandoned here.
I know, it's not ALLL about RS, but really...they should push for options.

That said, I have contacted Gamersgate about this, and while they can't SELL me the game, they don't region-lock their accounts apparently.
One helpful person has suggested getting someone else with a gamersgate account to buy the game and "gift" it to my account.
Even then, they're not 100% sure it will work, but hey.

So, any takers?
I'd pay in advance and all - and a few bucks on top for your troubles.
