I think it was a neat concept to flip a coin and show two possible outcomes in the young couples life. Too bad none of it was interesting. The Green plot was a pretty mundane family drama and the yellow plot was a unbelievable no payoff borefest.
This could be made into a good movie even with the two leads. The movie feels like it had no script.
I disagree. First of all, I didn't see anything unbelievable about the yellow plot. it certainly does not happen everyday but it's not unreasonable. And the green plot was obviously not as exciting, but the point was, they were still making life-changing decisions ( have the baby or go with abortion).
The picking up the phone is highly unlikely but could happen. The part i found unbelievable was the kids trying to ask the 500 large to get the phone back and then make stupid move after stupid move.
If you liked it, good for you. I just felt it was unrealsitic. The Green Plot is believable but also quite ordinary and boring.
Do you not agree that there could have beenb a much better movie made based on the premise?
i completely agree. The movie would have been much better without the stupid ending to the yellow story. I dont have too many problems with the green story because I already knew that it would basically a boring stupid story. This was obvious after you are shown how exciting the yellow story was meant to be; two completely opposite stories.
And yes, i know that the movie is about making life changing decisions. KVolchok has said that twice now (once in this thread, and once in mine). Knowing what the movie is about doesn't make the movie good. It would have been a better movie if it was a movie about life changing decisions.....with a cool action scene in the end.
Most of you liked the Yellow plot better? I liked the Green! The yellow kept annoying me, just give the damn phone to them and leave. I will admit that love scene that kept going back and forth between the two couples was well done. Nicely shot.
