Decent movie up till the climax (spoilers)

So, I dug the low level horror build up going on. Some of it wasn't great, but decent.

I was cruising along and enjoying it, until Dane jumps into The Hole to rescue his brother. When he shows up in the skewed/alice in wonderland world it was interesting, but it didn't really fit with the movie. Then when "hell dad" shows up, it was really bad.

I think they would have been better if they didn't go so literal with just having dad try to beat his son.

Anyway, my $.02.

I hate IMDB's Signature policy...

I was just coming here to complain about this very thing. The world of the hole would have been better pitch dark or something. Not a stupid beetlejuice type low budget Tim Burton fun land. Ah well, it was much better then the original in which I hated and reviewed.

yeah I agree. The movie turns terrible from the moment he jumps in the hole up to the ending. A shame, before that it wasn't completely awful.
