Anyone notice the paramedic?

... the paramedic, taking the gurney down the hallway with Sherry on it, after Sylvia punched her in the face, who looked a little bit like he could be related to Patrick J. Adams (Byron)... He had a few brief spoken lines... His face was only was on camera for, like, 2 seconds... Was also credited as assistant editor, camera loader...

Edit:

J.D. Nielsen http://www.imdb.com/name/nm2774291/

I noticed the similarities too. The credits are confusing, they actually have him as "James," "paramedic" is the other guy wheeling Sherry out (you only see his back). "James" is played by David Giuntonli, while the "paramedic" is played by J.D. Nielsen, who seems to be more of a production guy than actor.

The paramedic who speaks is actor David Giuntolli. The one who doesn't is also the assistant editor and camera loader.

reply

Yup, it's David Giuntolli

He's also in the new NBC series, Grimm.

if David agreed to do this film, they should have better utilized him. i liked the film a lot...and it would have done better in the short- and long-run with more of him. paramedic? please. unless he just did a cameo as a favor to some member of the cast or crew, that was a wasted opportunity for an indie flick.

reply

This movie was made way before his 'Grimm' fame so back then he wasn't really known. Someone had to play the paramedic and David obviously wanted the part enough to take it.

regardless, i'm sure the film-makers are kicking themselves now. LACK of vision. and if you're an INDIE film maker, lack of vision is NOT something you can afford. they should have seen he was GORGEOUS, talented and willing to be in their film...therefore give him more screen time. duh.
