Jason Patric did a great job.

This film had some promise but of course degenerated into nothing more than shootouts and the expected showdown. Nothing special really, but Patric seemed to have more depth here than in other roles I've seen him play. I hope he gets offered some better roles in better films.

He is an awful actor. Not intimidating. He is no Liam Neson that is for sure

I can never tell when I am reading someones signature.

Agree with OP. Everyone else was just going through the motions. The Journey of August King is one of my favorite movies.

I was entertained by this film. A good 'dick' flick, you know, opposite of c 'chick' flick. Lots of guns, shoot 'em ups, dumb gangstas and the hero is always the better shot.

I'm a chick and I enjoy action movies. I thought Patric did a good job as the action hero and wouldn't mind seeing him do similar roles in the future. When he told a bad guy what he would do if they didn't cooperate, he convinced me that he meant it! Wasn't a bad way to spend 90 minutes on a snow day!

Jason was awesome but everything else was a mess

Pretty much spot-on there.

What I liked about it, is the film managed to explain the inner workings of an assassin with a minimum of dialog. And that, right there, made it interesting.

I watched this on DVD. Yes, it was your typical Hollywood, big-budget action film. No real surprises. But I did have to "rewind" a few times to see just how Patric took the bad guys down.Angela (Lowneds), may have been annoying, if not for that character, Paul would have had no reason to explain himself. How Paul (Patric) chose the military over prison, and was highly trained to disable or kill (mostly kill).

Watta ya lookn here for?
