Simply because I felt this is one of the worst movies I have ever seen. Its true, Normally I will stop watching a movie if I don't Like it. However, in the case of "an Angel Named billy" I was anxious for the next plot twist so see how badly the actors were or how cliche the Gay plot was. I know most Gay movies are bad due to limited funds or whatever, but this one took the cake.

To each his own. Yes, the acting isn't the best and some of it's over the top and not very believable but there is a nice feeling to the fact that being gay is not treated as having the plague. And it's okay that nice guys don't alway finish last. I'll put up with it's faults because I'm a romantic at heart and like "feel good" movies.

shareOkay have to add that if you are looking for feel good, romantic at heart gay films that are also well acted..."Latter Days" (okay some hokey parts) and "All over the guy" IMHO both much better than this one, but I hate to say it, it would not take much to be better than this film.

I have to agree. this was horrible.
Like you...I think I only continued to watch just to see how bad it would get.
It felt like a gay 'after-school special'...and that's an understatement. wow.
