so much better than crap Tamil version!

I watched Pokirri about a year and a half back my friend kept telling me its the best *beep* ever. Honestly I had NO idea wtf was going on in that movie, I turned it off before the last scene. It was SO *beep* confusing that I watched Wanted and everything was a complete surprise to me (except the big twist). The guy playing the landlord in Pokirri was so fugly he looked like a dirty monkey child molester... his face scarred the *beep* out of me. Come on that guy honestly looked like an orangatang. And the action and dancing was ridiculous! Especially opening sequence! (In Tamil version)

I am surprised how Hindi movies are able to take these retarded action sequences and make them good while still paying homage to the original. Same with Ghajini, still have South Indian action feel but it wasn't over the top and ridiculous

LOL still with that shirt pulling thing though in the songs. Whats with that?

But u know something? That Vijay is 100% hotter than Salman and waaay better for the role. I thought Salman was ridiculous for this role. Too old. Should have been Shahid Kapoor

And did anyone else notice when he was stuck in the elevator scene his pants were designed so it looked as though he had *beep* in them? it was the worst fashion design I had seen in my life. My bf asked me wtf did he piss himself? It really looked that way

All in all was good, much better than Tamil version, although I wanted to break the TV when Salman just HAD to fight the last scene with his shirt off. What a joke!

BTW I'm not bashing South Indian films. One of my favorite films is in Malayalam (Thirakatha). There's also some great Tamil film with Madhavan I like, u know the one where he is a cook and moves to Australia but he's really country. And that film boys was great also. South Indian films are great. Just not action ones.

HEISENBERG WAS HERE.... (I think)

(yes it's a chemistry joke so sue me!)

Well tamil Pokkiri was in turn remake of telugu Pokiri(It is considered one of the biggest blockbusters of all time in telugu cinema) made by Puri Jagannadh with of course a better looking cast compared to Tamil one i.e. Mahesh Babu, Ileana. Ayesha Takia was indeed the original choice for telugu one too but because of schedule conflict Ileana was roped in..
Wanted resembled the telugu version(made by puri jagannadh) a lot more than the tamil version(made by Prabhu Deva too)
