Helghan: The Sausage planet
Helghan is a massive sausage fest. Where are the women? No wonder they're all so annoyed all the time.
Seriously though, what a great game! It finally shows what the PS3 is capable of.

maybe they're promised 40 virgins when they die....
it's a pornography store. i was buying pornography.
Yeah, it really shows off the PS3's ability to render all the colours of the brown and gray spectrum.
shareYeah, you're right, Gears of War has a MUCH larger color spectrum. Your comment proves you never actually played the game, it also suggests you don't understand color pallet to create mood (hint: it's used in just about every film nowadays).

Lack of colour is something that has blighted a lot of current-gen games as devs strive for realism rather than creating their own unique art style. Look at the likes of Street Fighter 4 to see what can be achieved. Personally I thought it suited Killzone 2 as the environment was supposed to be inhospitable. Besides, there is a beige level a bit later on - so there is your third colour!
The Fanboyism is silly. Sony and Microsoft don't need defending; they have huge piles of cash and role around in it laughing at how they have fleeced you out of your hard earned money. Personally I would love Gears of War and Left 4 Dead to come to PS3; they are both great titles that would be an asset to any platform. Besides, we all know that the Commodore 64 is better than both of them put together.
I felt that they could at least involve some aspects of Helghan life to give them more character. Like discovering that you massively slaughtered women and children instead of the soldiers that you sought.
