Xbox 360 or PS3?

Which is better?

I own a PS3, and, so far, have no intention of getting a 360.

The question is: what exclusive titles does the 360 have that makes it better than PS3? What exclusive titles does the PS3 have over the 360?

PS3:

1.) Uncharted - ONE of the GREATEST action-adventure games of ALL-TIME!!!!!!!

2.) MLB '09 The Show - the MOST REALISTIC sports game EVER!!!!!!! The MOST REALISTIC GAME EVER!!!!!!!!!!! The GREATEST sports game EVER!!!!!!!!!! ONE of the GREATEST games EVER!!!!!!!!!!!!!

3.) Metal Gear Solid 4 - One of the ALL-TIME GREATEST technical achievements EVER!!!!!!!!!!!

4.) Killzone 2 - Same as MGS4, AND, it is EASILY one of the GREATEST first-person shooter EVER MADE!!!!!!!!!!!!!

5.) the upcoming GOD OF WAR 3 - If you've played the other games, then, just imagine the PS3 version of God Of War. IT WILL BE F_UCKIN' AWESOME!!!!!!!!!!!

As an added bonus:

1.) Resistance - WAY, WAY, WAY BETTER than ALL of the Halo games.

2.) Resistance 2 - Even better than the first.

3.) Little Big Planet - F_UCKIN' INCREDIBLE!!!!!!!!!

4.) Sonic's Ultimate Genesis Collection - HOW AMAZING IS THAT? You get to revisit the Sonic series, STREETS OF RAGE, the GREATEST beat-'em-up SERIES EVER!!!!!!!!!! GOLDEN AXE, ALTERED BEAST, ECCO, and other classics.

Now, on to the 360. Just off the top of my head:

1.) Gears of War - I'll admit, it's pretty F_UCKIN' AWESOME!!!!!!!!!

2.) Gears of War 2 - Just as good as the first

3.) Halo 3 - To me and PS3 owners, BORING!!!!!!!!!!! To the Xbox owners, great.

What else?

4.) Dead Rising?

5.) Halo Wars?

Aside from the first three mentioned, the only good games on the 360 are the ones that are also on the PS3 like Dead Space, Street Fighter 4, Falout 3, and now Bioshock.

the 360 offers like NOTHING new. The PS3 is innovative and fresh, and offers new experiences. I could be wrong, but, aren't they making a Shadow of the Colossus 2?

Who agrees with me?

I agree with you. I love my PS3! Sony did everything right. I may have been delayed a while and costs a little more but at least it doesn't have an extremely high failure rate. And the fact the PS3 has a built in Blu Ray drive and an easily upgradable hard drive helps too!! The one good thing about the 360 is the controller. Its a little more comfortable. I have big hands so i sometimes feel the PS3 controller is too small.

I will agree with 360 owners with this though. The PS3 had almost no games when it came out! But Sony has pulled through and gotten a lot of great exclusives. The Resistance series kicks ass!! Cant wait for R3!! And Killzone 2 is pretty *beep* sweet!! Any news on K3?

So to summarize: Great games? PS3's where its at now!!!

I also agree with you in the fact that Halo 3 can get a little boring. I still like playing the game when im at my cousins house who has a 360, but mostly for the story line and multiplayer.

Im a PS3 man all the way but if Microsoft can get their head out of their a$$ and REALLY FIX the RROD problem(again...) i might consider getting the cheap 360 just for a few of their exclusives.

I have both systems, when a game comes out for both I get the XBOX version, cause it USUALLY looks better on the 360 and the controller for the xbox is way better. Anyone can get used to one controller or the other, and of course when you play a different one the new one seems awkward. But a good nuetral breakdown of each controller will always end in the 360 controller being better. True its a ripoff of the playstation controller, it took the idea and made it better. Playstation just gave us the same old *beep* I'm working on getting a xbox clone controller for pc to work on my playstation.

as far as Blu-ray versus HD.. well thats a mute point Blu-ray wins.. I have the xbox HD-DVD unit too, and my favorite HD movie from both blu-ray and HD is the HD version of Full MEtal Jacket.. its just looks great. My second fav is Texas Chainsaw Massacre on Blu-ray

Who has better software? well the 360 obviously,, getting games and games to work correctly on the ps3 is a tough battle,, 360 is smooth.

Hardware- no question the ps3. The xbox breaks frequently and even when running normally sounds like its going to break. The PS3 runs very smoothly and is rugged. I feel as if it could run for days with no problem. and its quiet. I realize the new Elite xboxs are supposed to be better, but I don't have one of those,, I have the premium from 2008 (after replacing my broke one from 2006)

In my opinion there is no clear winner, only fan boys who wish there to be so. But if I had to give on console up it would be the ps3, but I'd really miss it. Metal Gear Solid 4 kicks ass!

I agree with this assesment. I wasn't bothered with the ps controller as much as I thought I'd be, but shooters feel better on the 360 and most of my gaming is online shooters so it's only natural.

As for the RROD, I'm not the best judge as although I'm on my 4th xbox, I got the bestbuy warranty and literally exchanged them on that 50 dollars. No waiting, just a drive to bestbuy and I even got to keep my hard drive.

Now for looks. MGS4, the main reason I bought the console, and Killzone 2 look amazing. But like ChefFlick says, I hear that multiplatform games look better and run smoother on the 360. I don't have two copies of the same game so I can't way in on that.

Also like ChefFlick said, the PS3 was the one to go when I went to college and had room for one and only console. Although now that I'm going into an apartment and have that HDTV it would be nice to have the blueray player with me. Nothing wrong with a console and a video player I suppose.

Bottom line, I don't think you can simply compare games and especially the games as they are right now. We all new that once developers started developing to the fullest that the more powerful console would win out and obviously the PS3 is more powerful.

Xbox representative here.

You need to think back to a time before PS3 had all those titles. Back then the 360 had the exclusives and then the shared games for less money. Also the Halo multiplayer is retarded but I enjoy the campaign. Now I wasn't a fan of resistance, but Killzone 2 and MGS 4 especially were what made me pull the trigger on the PS3. Now that I have an HDTV I am also using it for blue ray.

Finally I gotta say, xbox live is the clincher for me. I hate the PSN, and your pressure internal wireless router sucks balls. I can't get a decent connection with it yet when I plug in my first gen xbox wireless router the online works just fine. Despite having to pay for Xbox live I feel that it is a better service and therefore worth the money. Currently I have bought a few single player multiplatform titles on the PS3, but if I want to spend any time online I go with the 360.

Hope I made that easy enough to understand my motives. Especially the fact that the 360 came first and for a long while the PS3 was surviving off the multiplatform games.

In really depends what you're looking. As for wich controller is the best, you'll mostly get used to whatever given enough hours. Own a PS3, as for me it was Killzone, GT5, the BluRay-playback and that the online play is free wich made me pick my choice. Others prefer more online options and services, and is willing to pay for it, but im fine with i got. Again, all about what one is looking for. Even if one system is better than the other, few developers take advantage of that due to easy multi-plattform dev. time.
