Anyone else feel a bit sorry for this character?

All the stuff she went through. Saved all of their asses time and time again.

Sev watches her get blown away and doesn't even mention it?

They all go mental over Templar, yet she doesn't even get a single mention?

I thought that was a bit weird for a central character - I kept expecting her to turn up as some sort of kidnap victim of Radec's for the codes...

Shame.

You've gotta keep in mind that Templar was a huge War Hero after KZ1, he was a close friend of Rico, and he formed the Special Forces branch that Sev & Rico are a part of. Batton, even though she was important to the war effort, was just some scientist they were ordered to protect, and most of Alpha Squad had only known her for a few days when she was killed.
