Disturbing

As if the subject matter isn't sad and sickening enough, it's truly disturbing how the behavior of many of the parents seems to suggest they are somehow getting off on the attention and drama surrounding their child's abuse. What an awful thought - I hope I'm wrong.

I never understood why a person would go on this show and air their dirty laundry. Do people seriously crave attention that badly that embarrassing themselves on national TV is worth it to them? What is really going through these people's minds to sign up for this? It's crazy. I wouldn't go on this show even if I was the one who everyone sided with. I just truly don't see the point.

There are those who want a person to take a lie detector test but don't have the money to pay for it to be done. But why would the person being accused agree to be on the show? They could easily say no and have the reason be that they don't want their dirty laundry on national TV, which is a more than valid reason. Doesn't make them look guilty.

Then as you've said, there are those that want the free trip, which is just a stupid reason to air your dirty laundry. What a great trip. Have some fun in...where does this film again? Connecticut? Anyway, have fun and then embarrass yourself and someone else. Don't see how that wouldn't put a damper on the whole memory.

TV time. Smh. Why anyone would want this to be their claim to fame is mind boggling.
