Could somebody suggest me a website or book that deals with Japanese martial arts during the pre and post-war Japan?
Btw, was it true, like the movie, that alot of dojo were turned into a Imperial Amry training ground?
I remember a chapter in Funakoshi's book Karate-Do My Way Of Life, in which he tells about him training soldiers during World War 2.
