does anyone else find people in the community annoying?

there's a guy at the computer lab of my grad school who is a pick-up artist or whatever in the sense that he teaches classes.

i find him to be really annoying. at first, i asked him for some advice, but then i realized that i dind't really want to immerse himself. Whenever nhe talks to me, he's really forceful and even makes me feel uncomfortable. I thought just for the heck of it, i'd make conversation with him because i didn't want to be rude and he started telling me his dogmatic beliefs about how i needed help and everyone can use these things.

He's also practicing talking to girls in the computer lab and working on his game. He's like a "day gamer." I think it's really annoying and distracting. I will admit that he's slightly better at getting girl's attention in the lab than i am, but on the whole, i just find him annoying.

I think it's ironic because he's supposedly devoted great deals of time to making people feel comfortable and making them feel attracted to him, but he just makes me more uncomfrtable than practically anyone else i know. i don't know if other people feel uncomfortable since they're all trying to work and maybe he's using some type of charm that they all really like, but to any girl or guy who he's not using his charm on, watching him in action, just makes you feel uncomfortable. Does anyone else have a similar experience?
