just after Marc Warren and Emilia Fox were dancing - what was his game? I thought he had decided to marry that other boarder??
So what happened next?? By the time the thing came back on the movie was finished. Very aggravating. Please help if you can - thank you.

Basically it turns out that Mr Simpson (Marc Warren) wasn't actually going out with Theo Danes but was getting dancing lessons from her. He wanted to learn to dance so he could take Sylvia (Emilia Fox) on a holiday to a nice hotel with an orchestra where they could dance.
Pauline goes off to Hollywood on an American acting contract and Sylvia goes with her as her guardian and also for the Californian climate which is better for her health.
Posy goes off to Czechoslovakia to join a famous Prague Ballet troupe and Nana goes with her.
Petrova goes with GUM who says he can introduce her to Amy Johnson the pilot and presumably Petrova learns to fly etc.
The last scene includes Mr Simpson and Sylvia running down a path after getting married and then getting showered with confetti by the rest of the family/friends with Petrova and GUM flying overheard in a plane and waving.
