Movie failed for me, and I loved the Matrix

Sadly I think the movies from 1 to 4 basically got progressively worse.

The story of the real world after peace, with the machine war and all, I think could have been interesting, but wasnt really anything more than backstory, and this movie had awful pacing issues like many movies do.

I think if they made it a TV series instead with much slower pacing and less action scenes it might have been better for me.

The bot thing I think reminded me of zombie movies, didnt work for me, and the action scenes were poorly done as well, the original Movie the scenes were like wow, this its like meh.

The only thing that made me watch it all, was the Matrix in the name and seeing how the story ended. If it was a new movie in its own right I would have quit before the end and considered it a complete dud, so really its lived off the success of the first movie.

Also I am still left confused by the opening scenes where we appear to be witnessing a replay of events, but then later we see trinity is actually like a blue pill later on, so if anyone can explain that bit to me would be good.
