Thank God we had John Hughes films in the 80s

They were actually funny.

This is a piece of crap.

We also had Jerry Zucker, Jon Abrahams, and David Zucker movies in the 80s and THEY were THE BEST----they launched the spoof genre. Of course, a handful of bad eggs has emerged from that sub-comedy genre,too..

Dumbest. Post. Ever.

Funny? I don't remember that.

They were more like dumb fairy tales where everyone fell in love at the end and lived happily ever after and they ushered in all the insipid teen romances that are still with us today except with vampires and werewolves in place of Andrew McCarthy and Judd Nelson.

The better teen films were those BEFORE John Hughes--the irresponsible teen sex comedies with lots of T and A and shower scenes. They've started making those again, but usually WITHOUT the T and A and shower scenes, which makes them totally pointless (kinda like this), but still preferable to John Hughes

This movie is funnier than Sixteen Candles. Don't believe me? Watch 'em again.
