Ah, c'mon...the director wrote The Skulls, The Skulls II AND The Skulls III...he totally has the chops to make sure this movie ABSOLUTELY doesn't suck!

Why does it matter who writes it? Aren't they just going to copy REC 2, like they did with the first movie?

Last I heard, they aren't using [REC]2 as a template at all. In fact, they're going away from the "first person found footage" style, and going straight cinematic with it.

Eh, I'll check it out I guess.

They simply can't remake Rec2. It wouldn't make any sense. In the original film the cause of infection is religion related and the remake completely changed that by saying that it was a man-made virus

I only hope that Quarantine 2 doesn't end up being a Blair Witch Project 2.

If it's not used in that lost footage style, I really hope it's not like BWP2, THAT was awful, I'm glad that they're finally making a sequel though.
