Why do you think the negative reviews exist because the show took a giant dump on the original show and fans. You do relise if the show was good the fandom would have bought every toy released and gave it praise. They don't setout to dislike something but if it is bad then they will say so. I saw the trailer and was hyped for it and then after watching it Kevin Smith can suck a big one, it is garbage beyond belief. Every male character either sidelined, killed or emasculated to prop up the female characters in a show targetted towards boys.
unfortunately as prooven by your statement and many like it if you dislike something then you are some king of neckbeard or any other insult. You are just not allowed to dislike something anymore without having insults thrown at you.
The reviews I have seen from fans are general pointing out what is wrong with the show and the lies from Smith. What is wrong with that, that is what a review is. Remember critics are NOT fans, they are reviewing something due to being paid. share
Fans are allowed to leave negative ratings/reviews of course. I was talking about some fans who didn’t watch the show and rated it 1/10 just because of what they heard about it and some fans who did watch it or some of it and gave it the most negative rating possible just because something in the show upset them and they aren’t thinking critically (not sure if that’s the right word).

That is usually how reviews work. I'm not gonna watch something and see something i dislike and then be positive. No. This show is garbage and doesn't deserve praise. When someone like Grace Randolph who is all for diversity says it is bad and that their is not a single postive male character in it then you know you have lost the fans. I'll keep repeating this because it needs to. Every single male character is either killed, sidelined or emasculated to prop up the female characters you would never see that in a female show, never, literally never.
This will play out the same as ghostbusters and Star Wars. The media will side with Smith and anyone who disliek this show no matter the reason will be called sexist and some ism.
The viewing numbers for part 2 will be shockingly low because Smith has burnt through all his goodwill and is now personally attacking fans for not liking it. His tirade in the live Q+A will make certain this is remembered as a failure. share

I don't care what paid critics think. The show is garbage and fans have spoken and agree. The live Q+A which I also watched was a disaster and cut short because the fandom made it known what they think of it.
