It probably depends greatly on how old you are and what kind op person you are, because even though they are both brawling movies, they are quite different.
Critically, fighting was much more sucessful

Never Back Down:

Overall, I liked Fighting better. Never Back Down was fun, but once it was over there was nothing that really made you think. Fighting actually left somewhat of an impact on me and I connected with the main character a little bit. One is a meaningless romp, the other is a gritty urban drama.
