How did it get made?

As a martial artist and screenwriter, I have to say this is probably the worst theatrical release martial arts film I've ever seen (not including direct to DVD stuff though)

You know something is bad when you're not an action writer and seeing such a film makes you think "I bet i could do better than that" and the next day you have a go and 6 weeks later you've got a better product than what you watched.

Most of the scenes seem to be adlibed (and badly) - the main character can't fight yet the 'manager' seems to think he's good ..... and so do the goons he wants him to fight for - and the fight choreography is a mess.

To me the best thing that came out of this movie was it driving me to write a better one because it's so bad.

Where can I see your movie?

reply

No one has ever read it because I've never seen anyone looking for a martial arts script (I don't have an agent) but if you PM me your email address you can read it if you like.

Sorry for the late response, IMDb never sent me an email to notify me of your reply like it did the other guy.

So you took someone else's work, re-did it and call it better? Yeah, where can I see your movie?

reply

No, I decided to write my own martial arts script and it turned out much better (with no plan)

It's not been produced because no one has read it (as I haven't seen anyone looking for a martial arts script and I'm my own manager.)
