I think Terrence Howard has a lot of range as an actor---judging from his roles in Crash, and Hustle and Flow (among others). I have no idea what his normal speech patterns are like, but the first thought that came into my mind when starting to watch this movie was: "is this Howard character supposed to be gay?"
