Lead character s**ks! (spoilers)

The lead character sucks, here is why

1) He was supposed to be an FBI special agent/cop
2) The lead villain has killed (indirectly) his pregnant wife

Yet, TWICE the lead character fights the villain hand to hand and both the time the villain character (50+ yrs old) beats the sh*t out of this trained FBI special agent/cop (30+ yrs old) who was supposed to be really mad about loosing his wife.

The villain guy was not even shown as someone trained & well maintained. He looked like an average joe.

Not to mention how many times the villain fooled this guy into traps, normally a guy goes into depression or retires after a disaster comes back with vengeance when makes a come back. But this guy su*ks.

Even the ending is by chance i.e. not a planned move by the lead character, its just a coinsidence, an abrupt move by the villain that ends the stuff. Never the less the villain has by that time already completed his mission and in the process almost killed the cop chief & many other cops, also blew up an entire hotel.

My sentiments exactly.

Just an awful movie.

They who give up liberty to
obtain a temporary safety deserve
neither liberty or safety

You are so wrong.

That villain is also well trained killer. FBI or cop doesn't equal to superman.
Last but not the least, the final stuff was planned by the lead character. Watch that scene again and you will see.

Joe Pantoliano is laughable in this, and the part is played without a hint of humour. An absolute embarrassment.

He's short and old. No way can he come off as a "well trained killer".
