I was frustrated that there was no explanation at the end of the film. Did he make it back to his family okay? Wasn't he in fear the kidnappers would come back to get him?

Also, there was a similar tale on "I Survived..." about a guy kidnapped & locked up in Mexico in a closet-sized room. Is this the same story?

I too was kind of surprised by the ending being a little quicker than expected.. Was curious to see if anyone had any answers to these questions as well.
