Does anyone else think Ellie ruined the movie?

Does anyone else hate Ellie? I think she was a poor addition the second and third films. I think apart of why I dislike her so much is because I cannot stand Queen Latifah's voice. It's annoying and I don't think Ellie is supposed to be annoying so why couldn't they have picked someone else?

There's also a part in this movie that I just CANNOT stand, everytime I hear it I cringe.

The way he says it sounds stupid and obviously being attacked by dinosaurs isn't good, thank you mr. captain obvious!

I also hated how Syd kept saying he was a "mother" it just seemed dumb, why couldn't he just be a father?

All in all though, I thought it was a decent movie, not nearly as good as the first and second, and it seemed to be a little too short, but I loved Buck (can we keep buck and get rid of ellie?).

Well I never liked the idea of a tree-climbing mammoth, and I found her 'brothers' annoying, but, no I didn't find her very annoying, certainly not as much as the 'one big happy family' message they kept pushing on us. BTW, I found the whole premise of the third movie to be a huge cop-out, the dinosaurs, the jungle beneath the ice, everything.

I thought Ellie was kind of an afterthought, in this film. For the most part, she just followed everybody else around and stayed pregnant until the right moment. I think she more ruined the second movie with the constant and ridiculous belief that she was a possum. Look at Crash, look at Eddy, those are possums. Now look at Manny, and look at yourself. THINK ABOUT IT.

As for annoying voices, Sid wins that contest hands-down. And I'm all for getting rid of Scrat and his girlfriend.

Ah, I see we have a connoisseur in the art writing proper family movies rather than this 'only under 8s' rubbish they seem to be pushing out a lot of nowadays.

That's true that getting attacked by dinosaurs is never good, but he was talking about Ellie being in labour, not the dinosaurs.

I like Ellie, but I can't stand her "brothers." They are so annoying! I also could've done without the parts where Peaches cooed and giggled like a human baby. But that's just me.

I agree with your opinion of Sid referring to himself as a mother. How stupid!

Maybe because the 3 babies burst out of their eggs calling him "mama", so he just went with it?
