Most overrated of the Ice Age movies

The fourth one is still the worst, but I didn't like this one either.

The jokes were cheap, the story was very poor and Buck just wasn't that funny. The second one should have ended the series seeing as the ice melted down and all. And even that part wasn't more than decent.
I don't get it. How is this one so damn good? The second Ice Age movie has a MUCH better story, not to mention it's funnier. Having the character meet dinosaurs when they for Christ's sake are in the ice age was *beep* stupid.

I love this one, in fact it's my favorite movie in the franchise...although yes it's silly to have them encounter dinosaurs when they're in the ice age and I can understand why some people are annoyed with that, but I personally didn't care. I love the writing, and the jokes, for me personally, this is the funniest Ice Age movie yet and Buck is awesome! I love him!

But in terms of the writing, I think the first movie still has the best writing, even though I think it's less enjoyable than this 3rd one overall. The second movie was good too, but still I don't enjoy it as much as this one...and the 4th movie was ok, I didn't like it much, to me the 4th one is by far the worst in the franchise so far.
For me, the first movie and this 3rd one are my favorites, IMO the first movie has the best writing, but this one is the most fun and entertaining to watch for me.
