What a waste of time! I usually like movies that are low budget but redeem themselves by having good script and good actors. This was not a good story or good movie. Pointless episodes of story bits that dont make sense in the end.

shareI'd read them, and I enjoyed the movie. My boyfriend had never read them, and he didn't have a problem following the story. He's not big on fantasy or stories about wizards, but he was impressed with how smart it was, especially for a made for TV movie.
We never get anything this good on American TV, it seems like no one wants to make a mini series about any wizard other than Merlin.

The only thing that I really had objection to with the adaptation was the constant use of the word 'eight' instead of '7a' or 'the number between 7 and 9' or any of the other many euphemisms, hehe. Admittedly, I'd also have liked a more accurate shade of octarine but it would just be silly to expect them to be able to pull off a proper greenish yellow-purple, lol.
