Problems with updates?

Hi. I'm just posting to ask a question to preferably an IMDb moderator. Recently, I added some quotes to this movie and "Space Buddies" and changed some of the quotes that were in here because they were wrong. I came back a few days later, and the quotes I submitted for addition were added to the database, but the quotes I tried to correct were not corrected! Are there some problems going on with the updating team or something? I need to know why quotes are being added, but not corrected.
