The ridiculous rip-off of the Sin City cover?
Rain, lead character with gun out, red text with nearly identical font

and a Sasha Grey on its cover. how ridiculous is this??? she got a role that only last 1minute....

and yea.. its mostly the same story as it was in sin city, just with low budget this time.

so while giving sin city a 8/10, I'm about to give this one a 5/10 for bad acting, cinematography, fight scenes, score.

if there wouldn't be sin city, it might've deserved a 6 or 7.

Sasha Grey's on the cover because she's the most marketable name involved with this. True story.

I was over Sasha long before she went mainstream. She can't act unless there's something in her mouth -- I ain't talking cigars, people!

It's not just the cover. I just have seen the trailer and you're right, it's SIN CITY all over the place. And lame.

Hey! it is easy to criticizes others works, but do you haven't notice that this movie was done only with 1.1 million? and Jason Yee was all over the credits covering different roles, I give this guy a 10! why because I know what it is the meaning and the hard work to put a movie together, and this one came out quite entertaining and with solid characters...who cares about the cover? Hollywood? I really will like to work among such of great talent, keep the good work Jay!

Noticed the cover wasn't sure if it was Sasha lol.

As for the hallway scene, I def see that as an homage, not a blatant rip off.

I would also call it rather a homage, because it didn't try to top Old Boy's scene.
In the end, this film obviously was influenced by old film noir stuff. The same goes for Sin City so to me it's not that strange there are similarities.
