Synapse Films acquired the US rights and plan on releasing it March 2009.
There is also supposed to be a limited LA, Texas and NY theatrical release in
January.
DVD is gonna be out August 25th...
Only wandered across this because there's an episode of Showtime's Masters Of Horror with the same title.
I really hate it when post-apocalyptic films leave out the whimsy...

just watched it.....I was expecting worse....but it was enjoyable. There was nothing THAT shocking in it thankfully. The only good actor was really the lead girl.....the rest, not so great.
Certainly not worse than Antichrist. That was a far more serious and disturbing film.

I thought the whole thing was a stupid lump of trash. How is any of it "enjoyable"? I don't get that. There wasn't anything original in it, the acting sucked and the plot was non-existent. The whole thing rests on the level of gore, and frankly we've all been there, done that. It simply adds nothing, contributes nothing to the genre. In short, it's unoriginal garbage.
