One of the most f'ed up movies I have seen in a while. So sick and twisted, yet I liked this film. The acting at times can be a little bad. The production qualities can be lacking, but it doesn't hurt the film too badly in the long run. Good little independent film here and I'm glad I discovered it.

I just treat these movies as comedies, and have a good laugh. The people around me that take it all serious get a little pissed when I laugh at things that are supposed to be terrifying. But it is always so over the top and totally unrealistic. So you just HAVE to laugh.
shareWhip, I hear ya man. I didn't personally find anything about this movie funny at all. I actually told three girls about it and they watched it and said the same thing you did. They LAUGHED! I guess the fact that there are some truly sick people out there that are actually capable of this type of behavior is what prevented me from laughing! I found it quite disturbing!

shareThere are a few scenes that push the boundaries a little. But ultimately it kind of just ended up being some run of the mill torture porn with a little redneck family drama thrown in for good measure.
Killing kids, even in horror, is still pretty taboo. And the whole severed penis on a spike dildo murder was obviously developed solely for its ability to shock people/become an animated gif. But none of it had any weight. The movie was so bad on every front that even these scenes that were clearly engineered to shock and awe fell flat. They weren't really effective or scary or...much of anything. Just seemed like the "edgy" ramblings of someone who never really grew out of their early teens.
I liked it for the same reason a twisted as fuvck dark comedy\horror. Izzy is awesome at revenge
