Jeff Lewis is a tv star first and a designer second. He only handles a few projects which could not possibly throw off enough money after paying contractors to cover his life style. Everything he does is for the TV. Whacky assistants make for better TV than sane ones.

Gage is portrayed on the show poorly. Is this true or is it just good TV and editing. My bet is Gage is probably a nice guy who works very hard. Jeff even said that Gage is working so hard that he doesnt have time to have sex. \

Remember this is just Reality TV and the word reality has nothing to do with what we are seeing.

LMFAO! It took you THAT long to realize that?
I realized it was all scripted after the first episode. Didn't you think it was strange how all these "life changing" events took place when the cameras were present?

Yes, you can say that about the newer season but the first two didn't come off that way. This all started when he stopped flipping houses and started designing for others.
The new trust fund assistant and the butch lesbian home assistant are strictly there for the cameras. He hired them when they started filming the new season. Furthermore, do you really think that someone that could afford his services would actually bother working for him and butting up with his $h!T?

Vanina might be the only one that is there to actually work and not entertain. She always has this WTF? look when Jeff starts acting up, as if she knows that this isn't how he normally acts when the cameras aren't on.
