Jenni's and Jeff's friendship

Do you think it's genuine? I feel like it's just for the show. I don't think she can stand him anymore. After all he's done to her, how could she completely forgive him? I wouldn't be able to.

reply

Seems genuine to me. They've been friends a very long time and their friendship started well before the show did.

Like any long term friendship I think they bicker. When you saw how effected they both were after Jenni's divorce I think their friendship is real.

As a unsuccessful performer Jenni would be stupid to give up a job that allowed her to be on TV. Do you think she would have gotten the toilet commercial or done those cleaning product commercials without the exposure she gets from this show?

reply

I don't think she would give up this show. I think the friendship is all for the show. I know they used to be very good friends, but he sued her. I don't think I would ever get past that myself.

reply

I get what you are saying Pattoluise. And I agree with you. I think the friendship is just there because of the show, and Jenni has a job to do, and is loyal. But she does not trust Jeff. And he's done a lot of bad to her, I think now she keeps her distance and only comes to work, and talks to him about things shes not afraid will bite her in the butt.

Jenni knows a lot of skeletons in that closet. And he knows it!

I'm a longtime viewer of the show, but I took some time off, so I don't know about Jeff suing Jenny. Can someone please bring me up to speed on what happened?

Jenni planned to write a book based on her experiences as Jeff's assistant. He felt it was a violation of a confidentiality agreement she had signed when she became his assistant. They disagreed so it went to lawsuit but it was all worked out with having to go to court.

Things were a little bit rocky between you and Jeff at the end of last season and, from what we heard, it got a lot worse before it got better. Jeff has spoken out about all the book drama and why he sued you. (He basically said you were negatively influenced by a previous management team). What’s your take on that whole situation?

Miscommunication and Misinformation.

You guys must have reached some kind of agreement because the infamous book (under a new title, I believe?) is finally about to be released! How did the lawsuit end up?

We did. The lawsuit was dropped.

reply

I find it Ironic that Jeff would sue based on a "confidentiality" agreement, considering he gossips worse than old hens on the front porch. He goes around talking about the suing and private stuff, even with the Living Spaces and old "employees"/contractors. Yet, no one can speak about him or the company. Hes the definition of "Do as I say, not as I do".

Thank you LoBo. I didn't know that information either and appreciate you taking the time to write it down for any of us that missed it.

You can see the contempt creep into her expression at moments. No....I don't think it's genuine. I think it's played for the camera. She's probably paid pretty well to be on this show, and is willing to keep smiling as long as the checks keep clearing the bank.
